This project in Guizhou Province, China, is a large-scale duck farm using the Layer H closed-house system. It has capacity for 300,000 laying ducks and 100,000 ducklings on one site, 400,000 ducks in total.
The closed houses allow air circulation, ventilation, feeding, drinking and house conditions to be managed systematically to meet the needs of a very large duck flock.
The duckling facilities are on the same site, so the early growth stage can be managed in a suitable environment before the ducks move to the production houses. This makes every stage of rearing easier to control.
