This project in Spain is a large-scale layer farm using the Layer H closed-house system. Its total capacity is 1,000,000 laying hens, divided across 10 houses of 100,000 hens each.
Splitting the flock across 10 houses makes it easier to manage each unit. The closed-house system allows air circulation, ventilation, feeding, drinking and environmental conditions to be controlled systematically for laying hens.
The Layer H closed-house concept also supports technology and automation. All equipment works in coordination in every house, so daily care runs smoothly and efficiently.
With 10 Layer H closed houses and 1 million laying hens, this project shows a structured, sustainable large-scale modern farming system in Europe.
